Kate has been a performer in community and profit-share theatre since 2007. She has performed across Australia and internationally, and is a trained improviser (Improv Theatre Sydney and iO Chicago). She has also been a stage manager for FringeWorld and community theatre productions.

She currently works as a freelance performer and event host, whilst also being an informal educator in a museum setting, with regular forays into the classroom as both a science specialist and a performing arts teacher.
